GOP statement on $400 million payment to Iran

Republican Party of the United States Virgin Islands chairman John Canegata issued the following statement on news that $400 million was paid to the Iranian regime at the same time as American hostages were released:

“The Obama-Clinton failed foreign policy resulted in the payment of a secret ransom of $400 million to the world’s leading state-sponsor of terrorism. Not only does this put a price on the head of U.S. citizen traveling abroad, but it’s a signal to America’s enemies that a Hillary Clinton presidency will make corrupt bargains with rogue regimes.”
