On Iran, Plaskett must put duty ahead of party

Republican Party of the United States Virgin Islands Chairman John Canegata issued the following statement:

“By paying a $400 million ransom for the release of Americans unjustly held hostage by Iran, President Obama has set a dangerous precedent that will only embolden America’s enemies. Congresswoman Plaskett needs to put her duty to Virgin Islanders ahead of her political party and hold the administration accountable for its reckless action. If she doesn’t, it shows that she doesn’t have the judgment to be our congresswoman.”
