The territory’s Republican leaders are going to Capitol Hill today.

Virgin Islands Republican chairman John Canegata, national committeewoman and former territorial Sen. Lilliana Belardo de O’Neal, and national committeeman Jevon Williams will raise several issues in a meeting with the Republican majority on the House of Representatives Subcommittee on Indian, Insular, and Alaskan Native Affairs.

Virgin Islanders off to Washington for Trump inaugural

The Virgin Islands will be represented at the Jan. 20 inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President-elect Mike Pence.

Plaskett’s stunt does nothing for Virgin Islanders

Congresswoman Stacey Plaskett’s latest stunt on the floor of the House of Representatives does nothing to improve the life of Virgin Islanders.
